I thought this argument was over before thegame came out. It’s not wrong. They aren’t just random innocent Africans, they are parasite-controlled drones whose sentience is gone. That’s the same as saying it would be wrong to shoot someone who came into your house and tried to kill your entire family. The difference of course is that the BSAA is in the Africans living room but they are there to stop the people who did the Africans wrong in the first place. Self-defense is completely irrelevant to prejudice.
Umm…. It’s video game… They could have been purple triangle headed amoebas. Saying that it is acceptable because the setting is Africa doesn’t hold water.They can set it on Mars. Also, I don’t think the laws of self-defense were written about video games. And, I don’t know where you live, but in my neighborhood I don’t have fear of zombies breaking into my house.
